During his twelve journeys through Ukraine (from 1990 to 2014) Reiner Riedler developed a deep connection to the country and its inhabitants. Out of solidarity with the victims of the Russian aggression, he spontaneously decided to donate the entire group of works Ukraine shown in the current WestLicht exhibition This Side of Paradise for the emergency aid of Caritas.

At the auction, the vintage prints - all unique pieces that the artist printed himself 20 years ago - will be proclaimed at 950 euros per picture. This is half of the estimated price.

Before that, you can also place your highest bid during the opening hours of the museum or simply by email to ukrainehilfe@westlicht.com. If you would like to help but are unable to come to the auction in person, we will of course be happy to accept your bids by telephone during the auction.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated 100 percent to Caritas survival aid for the people of Ukraine.
