In cooperation with Doctors Without Borders, Westlicht is presenting American photographer Susan Schulman.
The photographs in the exhibition were taken during Schulman’s journeys through the Democratic Republic of Congo and depict the suffering, violence and hardships, the Congolese people are subjected to. Most of the photographs were taken in the north east of the Congo, in regions where people had to flee from violence and war. Susan Schulman also visited aid projects of Doctors without Borders and documented their humanitarian efforts in the country.
The exhibition is dedicated to the Congolese people.
