»It all started in Singapore in 2007. I was drawn back into an analogous temptation by a Leica M6, which I saw as a reflection in a shop window on the main street. I immediately fell in love with photography and its unique ability to capture and preserve a single instant in time: both the moment's perfections and imperfections.«
Trilogy will display a selection of photographs from the series Epithelial Art, Japan and Violeta. The idea for Epithelial Art was born in a mountain village in Japan. Houses and walls looked like pieces of abstract art created by time. Japan is a visual diary reminiscent of the culture's mystical past. Violeta is a self-inspired, melancholic story of a young art student who lives on the island of Ibiza and dons her late mother's ballet dress to go on imaginary travels.
Sandra de Keller, born in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1978, grew up in Ibiza, Spain, and in Salzburg, Austria. Sandra studied interior design at the prestigious Elisava university in Barcelona and worked several years as a freelance agent and stylist for various international architecture and design magazines.
