WestLicht operator Peter Coeln, former Minister of Culture Dr. Josef Ostermayer, publisher Johannes Schlebrügge and Marie Röbl, collection manager and main author of the book Cora Pongracz. The Photographic Work, cheerfully welcomed the interested audience at the Photomuseum WestLicht.

The book is based on the examination of the estate, which the Photo Collection OstLicht was able to acquire at the beginning of 2015 and has been working on since then. With the help of numerous illustrations and text contributions as well as a detailed documentation section, a representative overview of the photographer's entire oeuvre is offered for the first time.

Cora Pongracz (1943-2003) became known for her photographs of protagonists of the Viennese avant-garde, such as Ernst Jandl, Elfriede Gerstl, Heidi Pataki, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Franz West and Arnulf Rainer.
