Exhibition:
Astrid Mahler (Curator, Albertina) and Rebekka Reuter (Chief Curator, WestLicht) took the audience on an exciting tour of the current exhibition Model Airbus Goldin.
Astrid Mahler, born 1972 in Linz, studied art history and history in Vienna. Since 2000, she has been a curator in the Albertina's photo collection and publishes in particular on Austrian photographic history. She wrote the essay Lisette Model: Close to the People for the exhibition catalogue.
Rebekka Reuter, born in 1979, is a cultural scientist specialising in photography. She gained curatorial experience at the Fotomuseum Winterthur, the photo collection of the Museum Folkwang, Essen, the Munich Fotomuseum and at Camera Austria, Graz, among others. Since 2009 she has been chief curator of WestLicht. Museum for Photography.
